This heavy gauge weld-tab thermocouple is designed for use where long-term surface temperatures are required. The stainless steel weld-able tab is a full 1/8 inch thick around the edges, and also has a drilled hole for use to mount on a threaded stub, or bolt-on installation. Even a heavy gauge high temperature wires can be used to loop through the drilled hole and simply wired to your required area to be measured.
Two designs are available, one having only high temperature leads, the other having a stainless steel stem coming from the weld-tab. The entire device has a range of from (-) 300 to (+) 1600 Degrees F. Response time is about 30 seconds, accuracy is better than 99 percent of reading.
Applications include tanks and fluid lines, furnace profile studies, engine manifolds - anywhere accurate, conveniently installed measurements are required.
