This spring-loaded thermocouple is design for use anywhere good surface temperatures of a magnetic surface are required. To install the sensor, simply stick it on the magnetic surface, the spring-loaded feature automatically places the sensing tip against the surface while keeping it away from the magnet itself.
Available in thermocouple types J and K, as well as PT 100 RTD, the B6 Series MAG probe provides easy alternative to cumbersome installations, and difficult to access areas. Easily removed by use of the handle design, this sensor provides a pull strength of 13 pounds at room temperature, and over eight pounds at 500 degrees F. Leads are fiberglass insulated with a stainless steel overbraid for durability and come in a standard length of 36 inches. Lead length, termination style (bare wire, mini plug..) are easily modified upon your specific request.
Uses range from motor surface temperatures, curing racks within ovens, automobile paint booths, ventilation grates and much, much more. Any magnetic surface where reasonable surface area is available.
